Six Degrees of Freedom is a software agency with an impressive range of diverse projects and technologies used. Projects that some of the team members have worked on as part of Crvena tipka or in their previous employment:
1.
We worked on the first military flight simulator in the FTD/FFS category that was developed to run as a distributed application on a network of PC computers using Linux and Windows.
2.
Work on the ground station software for the first Croatian unmanned aerial vehicle within the fire protection system.
3.
Development of interactive exhibits for many museums within and outside the National Parks Service system in the USA.
4.
Work on special venue products – a unique category with very demanding requirements, including attractiveness, “never-seen-before” features, portability, and short delivery timelines. Our clients included Lexus and the Vancouver Olympic Games.
5.
Participation in key projects for the largest Croatian and European telecom companies, including the implementation of Roam-like-at-home regulations, call quality monitoring in fixed telephony, and backend system development for a mobile self-care application.
6.
We worked on the software for one of the first non-Apple iOS hardware devices for reading and writing to SD cards.
7.
We worked on the provisioning and prepaid billing system for a prominent virtual telecom operator in the USA.
8.
Development and implementation of fiscal cash registers used in the markets of Slovenia, Croatia, and Montenegro.
We are currently (as Crvena tipka) the sole provider of software and IT support for an American company developing a neural rehabilitation system. The system is a simulator that integrates high-quality graphics and physical simulation, an HMD, a motion platform, and customization for patients with reduced motor abilities.
We are developing software for bus ticket sales and bus station management based on the software-as-a-service model. The system is capable of supporting complex fare structures used by major carriers while also providing a simple, cost-effective service for the smallest operators.
This list of diverse projects—and the even more diverse technologies we’ve used along the way—speaks to our agility and adaptability to our clients’ needs. It also shows that we’re not afraid to take on and successfully deliver projects in completely new fields.
